Michelle Caven is a well seasoned early childhood educator who is in her twenty-third year of a rewarding career. All of the wonderful opportunities, including teaching at the University of British Columbia Child Study Centre and it’s sister school, Soong Ching Ling Kindergarten in Shanghai, China; at Small Talk Centre for Language Development as a teacher and administrator; at Christianne’s Lyceum of Literature and Art and most recently as a speech-language therapy assistant for Vancouver Language Therapy for Kids, have made her the teacher she is today.
She brings a world of experience with her to the classroom and an intense passion for great quality children’s books! Her enthusiasm is contagious and Michelle could not be more ecstatic to be pursuing her dream of having her own space to read delicious stories every day to groups of children and soak up their creative energy in the workspace!
